The eye contact and communication exhibited in this image give a strong and charming point of focus however the background is poor
By removing all the colour from the insipid and uninteresting part we have concentrated the eye and brain onto the beautiful interaction between "Angel" the Saluki Lurcher puppy and her Nemesis of mischief "Bluebell" the Staffy pup. This is called "colour splash" and can give many also ran photographs an artistic air
